Multi-Color Variegated Core Spun Rug Yarn

A smooth, plush core-spun yarn made for rug weaving, with a 100% natural-color alpaca outer fiber spun around a sturdy wool core. Fiber from several of our alpacas — ranging from white to black, with shades of brown and gray running throughout — comes together for a beautifully variegated, natural colorway with no two bumps quite alike.

Soft and pliable, this yarn is perfect for weaving rugs and other plush home pieces, and works just as well for quick knit or crochet projects on large needles or hooks. You'll be amazed at just how soft it feels underfoot. This yarn is made from fiber not typically suited for garments worn against the skin — another way we make full use of everything our alpacas produce.

This bump is approximately 150 yards and weighs approximately 3 lbs — enough for a small rug. Since each bump is wound individually, yardage and weight will vary listing to listing.
